I want to say thank you for the exceptional kindness of two fabulous people from the Security Team on the night shift at Whiston Hospital recently.
I met you both in Reception at around 11:35pm having just left my husband on the ward. I was exhausted… mentally, physically and emotionally after a tough couple of days. I’m sure I was rambling and not making any sense, but you were both incredibly kind and thoughtful. I had nothing left that night and was so scared to walk through the empty car park alone.
You may think you were just doing your job. I promise, you were doing so much more. Thank you very much, you made me feel safe and secure the whole time.
